Net2Client version 4.0

After version 3.3 comes version 4.0, which includes a major change from previous versions since it eliminates the limitation in the amount of tables that it can manage. The improvements included in this version of Net2Client installed on September 29th 2005 are as follows:

TO THE USER

Increased number of tables

In this new version the quantity of tables is unlimited, replacing the 13 tables limit from the previous versions. This allows us to create more complex applications.

New report generator

The report generator now allows us to group records by field, have modifiable fields and total reports can be made by the final user, without the intervention of the developer.

More advanced users can make modifications to several parameters of the report such as colours, records by page, messages, etc.

Multiple links

This kind of field was added to allow the user to link a record to other records from another table

Aplication switching

When a company has several aplications it is now possible to switch from one to another without having to open a new window and log in again

Time Stamp

Se añadió el campo tipo "momento" o "time stamp" para almacenar fecha y hora simultáneamente.

TO THE DEVELOPER

Parameter management

The setup program has been made parametric completely so that when a new parameter is added, it can be done without much effort. This avoids that parameters have to be managed manually outside the setup programs.

PHP

Net2Client is now adapted to work with the latest version of PHP
